Our pre and postnatal programme includes weekly classes, specialist workshops, and short-term series to support pregnancy, birth preparation, and postnatal recovery. Whether you’re looking for ongoing movement, practical education, or dedicated time to rebuild strength and confidence, our offerings are designed to meet you where you are — with expert guidance and a supportive community.

  • Our weekly pregnancy yoga classes offer a supportive space to move, breathe, and slow down as your body changes. Sessions focus on mobility, strength, relaxation, and breath awareness, helping to ease common pregnancy discomforts while building confidence and connection. Classes are open to all trimesters and are designed to support both physical wellbeing and nervous system regulation throughout pregnancy.

    Practice breathing techniques + movements for labour, connect with other local parents + learn how to adapt your practice so you can confidently join in other classes on the alchemy_space schedule.

  • Our parent + baby classes create a welcoming space to move, connect, and be supported alongside your baby. With a range of weekly offerings — from pilates and yoga to fitness, music, and dance — these classes are designed to honour the realities of early parenthood. Babies are always welcome to be held, fed, soothed, or to rest, while you take time for your own wellbeing within a supportive community.

    Classes open to mums and pubs 6 weeks postpartum (or after you have been signed off by your GP post C-section) to when your baby starts to confidently crawl.

Our special events and workshops offer focused support around pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. These sessions provide time to go deeper — whether learning practical tools for birth preparation, rebuilding strength postnatally, or exploring specific topics with experienced practitioners. Designed to complement our weekly classes, these events create space for education, confidence-building, and connection.

  • The birth prep toolbox

    Empowering mothers and birthing partners for labour

    Date: Saturday 28 February 2026
    Time: 2:00–4:00 PM
    Location: alchemy_space, SW6 5NP
    Teachers: Claire King + Katy Bateman
    Duration: 2 hours

    A practical, physiology-based workshop designed to support confidence, comfort, and connection during labour and birth. Learn how the body works in labour and explore tools that help support hormonal flow and labour progress, including movement, breathing, touch, and acupressure. Partners learn how and when to offer support so they can feel confident, useful, and actively involved.

    Cost:

    Early bird: £75 per couple (ends 16 January 2026)

    Standard: £80 per couple

  • core & pelvic floor: postnatal recover & rebuild (4-week series)

    Support, connection, and gentle rebuilding during the fourth trimester

    Dates: 11 February – 4 March 2026
    Time: 14:30-15:20

    Open to: anyone postpartum

    This postnatal class focuses on developing core and pelvic floor coordination, strength, and stability — supporting you to reconnect with your body and build confidence as you begin moving again. We’ll use fundamental bodyweight strength movements to support the demands of new motherhood, ease postural aches and pains, and rebuild strength in a safe, supportive space.

    A supportive class to connect with and strengthen your pelvic floor and core canister — areas that are vital in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, yet often under-supported. This class aims to improve strength, stability, and coordination as your body changes, helping you feel more confident and capable in preparation for birth.
