🌀 200hr Anusara training
This is a 200-hour yoga teacher training rooted in Anusara Yoga — a method known for its intelligent approach to alignment, biomechanics and heart-led philosophy.
You’ll learn how to understand the body in a clear, practical way, build strong and supportive sequences, and develop the skills to teach safely and confidently.
Alongside the physical practice, we’ll explore yoga philosophy in a way that feels relevant, grounded and applicable to everyday life.
Whether you go on to teach or not, this training offers a deep and well-rounded understanding of yoga.
-

🌿 9-month journey
This training runs across 9 months, with one weekend together each month.
The intention is to create a steady, spacious rhythm — allowing you to fully absorb what you’re learning, rather than rushing through it.
Between weekends, you’ll have time to practise, reflect and integrate the teachings into your real life.
This format is designed to work alongside work, family and other commitments — making it both accessible and sustainable.
-

🤍 hybrid learning
The training is primarily held in person at alchemy_space, creating a strong sense of connection and community.
Some elements — such as anatomy sessions, integration work or additional support — may be offered online via Zoom or pre-recorded content.
This hybrid approach allows for flexibility, while still keeping the depth and integrity of an in-person training.
All sessions will be clearly communicated in advance, so you know exactly what to expect.

Anusara alignment principles + biomechanics
You’ll learn the foundations of Anusara Yoga, including its key alignment principles and how they apply across different bodies and poses.
We’ll explore how the body moves in a practical, accessible way — helping you build strength, stability and awareness in your own practice, and understand how to guide others safely.
-

teaching skills + finding your voice
Develop the confidence to guide a class in a way that feels authentic to you.
This includes cueing, presence, pacing and how to hold space — without needing to perform or be perfect.
The focus is on becoming a clear, supportive and human teacher.
-

intelligent sequencing + class design
Learn how to build thoughtful, well-structured classes that feel balanced, purposeful and supportive.
You’ll understand how to sequence safely, layer poses effectively, and create classes that make sense in the body — not just flow for the sake of it.
-

applied anatomy
Anatomy is taught in a clear, relevant and easy-to-understand way — focused on what actually matters in practice.
You’ll learn how the body works, common patterns and imbalances, and how to adapt and support different students safely and intelligently.
This isn’t about memorising — it’s about understanding.
Taught by Andrew McGonigle
